Layer after layer of woven aramid, stacked until it stops what it has to stop, then pressed and hardened into a single shell shaped to one car. That is the whole idea, and it is why it weighs what it weighs.

Aramid yarn, laid in alternating directions. Five times stronger than steel by weight, and it does not burn or melt.

Stacked until the stack defeats the threat it is rated for. Nothing more, because every extra layer is weight you carry forever.

Formed to the compound curves of one specific model, so the shell follows the body instead of being forced flat against it.

One piece. No steel joints, no welding, no modification to the vehicle's original structure.

Conventional armor is cut from flat stock and joined on the vehicle, which means overlaps, steel connections, and fasteners at every edge. Hardware struck at speed can move. A shell fitted in one piece has nothing to shed.

Most vehicle armor is designed around threats that almost no American family will ever meet. The dangers on an ordinary road are different and far more common: road rage that escalates at a light, a carjacking in a parking structure, someone who follows you off an exit. Nobody was targeting you. You were simply there.

Compare weight at a rating. Never weight alone.

A lighter panel at a lower rating is not a saving, it is a different product. Aramid also holds up where a vehicle actually lives, with no degradation at the temperature extremes a parked car sees in summer or winter.
